At Pediatric Hair Solutions, we believe nursing is more than an occupation. National Nurses Week in May is a time to reflect and celebrate all that nurses contribute to healthcare. Nurses change, save, and improve lives with caring and compassion. They serve many roles including caregiver, educator and long term healthcare provider.

Pediatric Hair Solutions has developed relationships with hundreds of school and hospital nurses. We assist in classroom head checks, educating parents, and act as an advocate on their behalf when treating families in our treatment center.

Pediatric Hair Solutions also employs nurses at most of our treatment center locations. They are often called upon to provide lice treatment in a hospital setting. We have treated children and adults at Levine Children’s Hospital and Novant Health in Charlotte, Shriners Children’s Hospital in Greenville, Greenville Memorial Hospital and Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston Salem.

We Are Open

We are following strict Coronavirus precautions and safety guidelines. We are taking temperatures of all visitors, and only allowing one family in the clinic at a time. We will require masks to be worn while inside the clinic, while also performing enhanced disinfection routines between each appointment. Our attention to preventing cross-contamination has always been top of mind at Pediatric Hair Solutions, which is why we find it imperative to do a pre-treatment prior to using heated air when treating lice. Times are changing, but our commitment to professional health care is not.
